Afternoon RAP happens on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. On Wednesdays, the math teachers can pull students for any necessary reason (to re-do an assessment, get extra help, etc). The other students have time to work on owed or current work for the week.

Yesterday students brought home their fundraising packets. This is our big TMS fundraiser to help send students on field trips throughout the year (Winter Fun Day and end of the year). Please help your student as much as you can with this cause.
I am pleased to announce that we are now "The Davis Doodles" for RAP. Students are creating their own "doodle" to add to our group poster. They were hoping to be named Davis Cakes, because they wanted to eat a lot of cake. :-) If you feel like you would like to send in any goodies for our group, please understand that we do have a peanut allergy in the group, so I would ask that you do what you can to help with this. Thanks!

Our group is currently brainstorming possible RAP group names. Once they decide, they will make a group poster to hang in the hallway. We are rotating through afternoon jobs and they are doing a great job taking responsibility and getting things done!
Last Friday was our first "real" Rapademic where students checked their IC and had time to complete missing or current assignments. They handled it very well, even with it being at the end of the day.
Don't forget: Every Friday their planner will show whether they owe any work or not.
